   Software Engineer II · Orangetheory Fitness

   • Primary engineer on a 6-person team that replaced Orangetheory's legacy coach software with OTconnect, the in-studio platform now running live classes in 1,200+ studios across the US, Canada, and Spain. Top contributor to the coach console, studio-local API, and member-facing class board.
   • Built the real-time class runtime that streams 1 Hz heart-rate and equipment telemetry between the coach console, the studio performance board, and tablets on treadmills and rowers - 10-20 members per class, ~5,000 classes a day fleet-wide.
   • Delivered software to 1,200+ studio computers through staggered GitOps rollouts and a self-updating desktop agent, and built the operator console for software versions, deployment groups, and per-studio overrides.
   • Shared a 2-person on-call rotation for 12 months through the national rollout, covering 4am studio opens coast to coast from Eastern time. Automated recovery for recurring disk-full outages that kept studios from starting, then traced the root cause to runaway API container logs.
   • Added Apple Watch as a first-class heart-rate source in class, and internationalized the in-studio stack (translation pipeline, French-Canadian and Spanish, metric and imperial units) for studios in Canada and Spain.
